DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP! If you are reading this please continue on. This shop has had a negative reputation for YEARS - but don't just take my word for it. If you go online and look at reviews on Google or any other review site you will see COUNTLESS 1 star reviews from others who have been taken advantage of by this shop. After I was taken advantage of I went online to do some digging and realized this has been happening to other people too for years. We brought a truck to them - long story short we paid over $2000 for repairs while the truck was never diagnosed properly. Got the truck back and they never fixed the problem. They only wanted more money after all the "repairs" they did which never fixed the core issue. Not only that but the shops prices when compared to others are astronomically high. But as I said before - please do your own research before taking your vehicle here, the people who work there don't take care of the community and its sad they have gotten away with poor service like this for YEARS. Don't make the same mistake I and many other have before me. Do yourself a favor and go to a reputable mechanic.
Dear Mr. Heiter, I'm sorry that this was your experience with my shop. Unfortunately, as much as we try, we can't please everyone. When you initially brought your vehicle to us with your concerns, we did do proper diagnostics on your vehicle as it states on your invoice. Your vehicle was leaking oil into the spark plugs and it had misfires. We did repairs accordingly, that you authorized, and your vehicle was then running good when it left here. Please understand that on a vehicle, there can be several things that can cause it to run improper, especially if it hasn't been maintained properly. Also, we must take into account that your truck is 20 years old with approx 170k miles on it. After several weeks of the initial repair, you then brought it back to our shop for for what seemed to be your same concerns as before, however, after doing proper diagnostics again, it was found that there was an oxygen sensor that had failed and we once again did repairs as you authorized. Now, the vehicle is in need of ignition coils, that will also cause misfires. We offered you repairs at a highly discounted option that you refused. We do encourage people to do their research before hand, that is always a wise thing to do. But in doing so, you will find that our prices are very comparable to many shops in our area. There will always be places cheaper and some more expensive. But most do not offer the kind of warranty that comes with our repairs that can be accessed nationwide.
